DISTRIBUTOR & DEALER WARRANTY POLICIES

Warranty Policies

New Product Refund Period

For any product returns, distributors and dealers must contact Valor Multimedia within 5 business days after receiving the merchandise. Once a Distributor or Dealer has received an authorized RMA number, the merchandise can be shipped back to Valor Multimedia, no later than 15 business days of the RMA number's issue date.

 

Unopened Box
For any unopened box product(s), Valor will issue customer credit, AFTER the product evaluation has been completed.
 
Open Box
For any open box product(s), Valor will deduct a 15% restocking fee from the total credit issued for each product purchased.
                        
Warranty
Valor Multimedia warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the day of their original purchase, unless stated otherwise. This warranty is non-transferable.
                        
Product Registration
Valor's consumer-purchased products must be registered online or by mail within 60 days of the original purchase date in order to receive the manufacturer's one year limited warranty.
 
Dealer & Distributor shelf life
Dealers and distributors have a one year shelf-life warranty from the original purchased date.
 
Exchange & Warranty Life
Any defective products will be repaired or exchanged with the same or a similar model. Valor Multimedia reserves the right to either use remanufactured or new products of similar or equal value during such exchange(s). For any product(s) exchanged or replaced under an existing warranty, the warranty's start/end dates of coverag e shall remain unchanged (beginning with the original date of purchase)  
 
Defective Product(s)
For any defective product(s) purchased by consumers within one year or less, consumers must contact Valor's RMA representatives in order to receive their one year limited warranty service. .  Dealers and distributors display units shall receive one-year limited warranty coverage. Distributors' defective returns will be given credit only. This credit cannot be used for a refund in any form of payments. It can only be applied to purchase orders.
 
Customer-Misused Products
Any defects caused by customer misuse, installation damage, or any other damages not caused during shipping, will not be covered under Valor's manufacturing warranty.
The customer is also responsible for all shipping charges for any returned item(s).
 
Defective Product Claims
For product(s) returned due to any alleged product malfunction, Valor Multimedia will evaluate and test all such product(s) thoroughly.
If a problem can be duplicated, Valor will contact the customer and advise him/her of the completed findings. A repair or product exchange will be offered at that time. 
If a problem cannot be duplicated, however, no repair or exchange will be offered. If the customer requests that the product be returned, he/she is responsible for any shipping charges.
 
Out of Warranty Products
Valor Multimedia does not process out-of-warranty products.Any out-of-warranty products shipped to Valor without proper Return Merchandise Authorization will be returned to the customer. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs.
                        
Tampered Serial Number(s)
Any Valor products' serial numbers that have been in any way tampered with automatically result in void of the original manufacturer's warranty, effective immediately. The serial number for any returned product(s) must be clearly identifiable in order for the warranty to be valid.The customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
                        
 Non-Valor Multimedia Products
Non-Valor Multimedia products are not covered by Valor Multimedia's warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged by Valor. The customer is responsible for any shipping costs.
 
Unauthorized Item Returns
All unauthorized item returns will be rejected and returned to the sender. The sender is responsible for all shipping costs.
 
Return process
 Before returning merchandise, customers are required to fill out a return application which includes full description of the reason for the return (defect). Valor Multimedia will then issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Customers are instructed to return the merchandise within 15 days of the RMA number's issue date.
 
Return Package Requirements
The RMA number should be clearly displayed on the outside of the package. Any package(s) without an RMA number may be delayed and/or refused for further processing. Customers are solely responsible for tracking the status of their package(s).All returned items need to be packaged properly in order to avoid delivery damage which may void the warranty.
 
Accessories
All accessories included with the original item(s) shipped must also be included with any returned product(s). Customers are responsible for the cost of any missing accessories.
In addition, Valor Multimedia is not responsible for any non-Valor accessories included with the returned product(s).  
 
Returned Products Process Time 
Valor Multimedia's processing time for most returns is 30 days. In the event there is no replacement inventory immediately at hand, Valor Multimedia will notify the customer within five (5) business days of receiving the product(s) to discuss an alternative approach.
